Worthy Park Estate is one of the most historic and prestigious rum distilleries in Jamaica. Founded in 1670, it is located in the parish of Saint Catherine and has a long tradition of rum production, although distillation officially began only in 1741.

The Jamaica 8 Years Old is a molasses-based rum, distilled in 2015 using classic pot stills at the Worthy Park distillery and aged for about 8 years—3 of which in a tropical climate—in a single ex-bourbon cask before being bottled at 45% ABV, without added colorings and non-chill filtered, with a total of 383 bottles produced.

Color: Pale amber.
Aroma: On the nose, there are notes of tropical fruit—pineapple, passion fruit, and citrus—grapefruit, with a light spicy touch and hints of white pepper.
Taste: The tropical fruit and citrus notes continue on the palate, revealing banana, passion fruit, lemon zest, and a sweeter side with hints of caramel and molasses.
Finish: The finish has medium persistence, initially spicy with white pepper notes, followed by candied citrus zest, custard, and honey.
