Wolfburn is a whisky distillery located in Thurso, in the Northern Highlands of Scotland. Originally founded in 1821, the distillery operated until the mid-19th century when it closed. However, in 2011, a group of whisky enthusiasts revived it with the goal of restoring Wolfburn’s whisky-making tradition.
The modern distillery began production in 2013 and has focused on crafting high-quality whisky while maintaining a traditional, artisanal approach. Now, after 10 years of operation, Wolfburn has released its first age-statement whisky.
The Wolfburn 10 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky aged for at least 10 years in a mix of refill Oloroso sherry casks before being bottled at 46% ABV, without chill filtration or added color.
