Torabhaig Distillery is one of the most recent and fascinating additions to the landscape of Scottish whisky distilleries. Located on the Isle of Skye, it is only the second operational distillery on the island, following the renowned Talisker.
The Torabhaig Cnoc Na Mòine is a heavily peated single malt Scotch whisky (78.4ppm), matured in a mix of American oak ex-bourbon, ex-Oloroso sherry, and ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry casks before being bottled at a classic 46% vol., unchill-filtered and in its natural color.

Color: Golden amber.
Aroma: On the nose, it begins with aromas of smoldering embers and citrus zest, blending with sweetness from vanilla and meringue, followed by iodine and fresh wood with hints of leather.
Taste: The oily texture coats the palate with smoke reminiscent of barbecue notes, followed by black pepper, blackcurrant, and a balsamic sweetness with hints of sandalwood and brine.
