Founded near the city of Hiroshima, Chugoku Jozo Distillery has been producing spirits since 1918 (mainly sake and shochu). In 1990, the distillery ventured into the world of whisky with the production of Togouchi, crafted at the Sakurao distillery.
The Togouchi Saké Finish is a Japanese blended whisky made from both single malt and single grain whiskies aged in ex-bourbon casks and then finished for an additional 3 months in sake casks previously used by Chugoku Jozo. This whisky is finally bottled at 40% ABV.
