The Whiskymaker’s Edition series was created to express the immense potential of the malt produced by The Lakes Distillery. Each edition, unique and unrepeatable, is the result of the mastery of Sarah Burgess, the Whisky Maker, who personally selects and combines the elements to create an elegant whisky with intense character. The Liguria edition, conceived in collaboration with Bacchanalia restaurant in London, stands out for its use of ex-Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks, resulting in an aromatic profile inspired by a journey along the stunning Ligurian Riviera. This region, known for its hills plunging into the Mediterranean, fragrant citrus groves, and picturesque coastal villages, served as inspiration for this refined and aromatic whisky.
The Lakes Liguria is a limited-edition single malt whisky, matured exclusively in ex-sherry casks before being bottled at 46.7% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added color.

Colore: Color: Pale amber.
Aroma: Sweet notes greet the nose, with orange marmalade, freshly baked bread, raisins, cinnamon, and a hint of figs.
Palate: More fruity on the palate, with notes of apple, raisins, and orange, followed by cinnamon and barley malt with hints of hazelnut.
Finish: Delicate, slightly spicy, with notes of cinnamon, candied citrus peel, raisins, cherry, and barley malt with floral undertones.
