A delicate yet complex character for this 12-year-old, which clearly expresses the uniqueness of the stills used by the distillery (their shape was designed by George Smith himself almost 150 years ago).
Its classic flavor is shaped first by the use of pure mineral water from Josie’s Well (used during mashing and fermentation) and then by maturation in American oak casks, which give the spirit smoothness and vanilla notes. The perfect single malt to start experiencing the spirit of Glenlivet, "The Spirit of the Glen."
