The Deveron is the new name for the official bottlings of the Macduff distillery. In 2015, the distillery underwent a product and design makeover that revolutionized the brand. Notably, Macduff was for many years owned by the Italian company Martini & Rossi and is a key component of the William Lawson blend.
The Deveron 18 Years Old is part of the "Last Great Malts" series by John Dewars & Sons – the current owners of the distillery. This single malt Scotch whisky has been aged for at least 18 years in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks before being bottled at 40% ABV.
