Springbank is part of the history of Campbeltown, but above all, part of whisky history. This distillery is one of the few that survived the Campbeltown whisky crisis and remains one of the most traditional distilleries in Scotland. At Springbank, everything is done in-house, from malting the barley on the malting floor to bottling the whisky. The entire process is carried out by hand by the workers, with no computers involved.
The first release (Batch #1) of Springbank 12 Years Old Cask Strength dates back to January 2010. Today, we are at the 25th release, with a product that continues to improve year after year. This release is composed of 70% ex-bourbon casks and 30% ex-sherry casks, bottled at a natural strength of 57.2%, in a limited edition.
Note: Purchase is limited to one bottle per customer.
