Saint Michael 2001 22 Years Old (The Spirit of Art) - Valinch & Mallet
Distilled in Pot Still using the oldest still in Barbados, built in the 18th century and housed at Mount Gay Distillery.
Mount Gay Distillery is one of the oldest rum distilleries in the world and is located in Barbados. Founded in 1703, Mount Gay has a long history of producing high-quality rum, helping to establish Barbados' reputation as a key rum-producing region.
The Saint Michael 22 Years Old by Valinch & Mallet is a pure single rum distilled in 2001 using Pot Stills and aged in a single cask for 5 years in a tropical climate and 17 years in a continental climate before being bottled at its natural strength (51.1%) in only 273 bottles.
The Spirit of Art collection was born from the idea of combining two passions, the world of contemporary art and whisky. Each bottle features a reproduction of a contemporary artwork by different artists; in this case, it showcases a work by artist Diego Zangirolami.
