Peat's Beast Peated Single Malt (46% - 70cl)
Peat's Beast Peated Single Malt
An explosion of intense smoke and peat, balanced by a delicate floral softness and a juicy sweetness. The boldest peaty notes take center stage, like a liquid version of Beauty and the Beast, where the elegant side of this whisky is trapped by its wild soul.

A beastly whisky, yet not without elegance. Young and pale in color, it comes from an undisclosed Scottish distillery. Extremely peated, it releases an intense and untamed smokiness, balanced by a fresh citrus and fruity note. If you love the scent of beach bonfires and bold sensations, this whisky is a must-try. Even the packaging stands out, featuring a fearsome monster and a scorched label that perfectly reflects its untamed spirit.
The Peat's Beast Peated is a single malt Scotch whisky with no age statement, aged in classic ex-bourbon oak casks before being bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and at its natural color.

Aroma: The nose transports us directly to a windswept island beach—sea breeze, wood smoke, ash, and tar. Peat dominates the scene, allowing only subtle hints of green apple and citrus to peek through. Touches of seaweed and smoked ham intertwine with aromatic spices like paprika and cigar tobacco.
Palate: Again, we remain on that same beach for a barbecue—savoury and intense, with notes of bacon, smoked herring, and black pepper, alongside hints of apple and banana. Yet at its core, it remains distinctly phenolic. Fleeting notes of lemon zest and a malty sweetness emerge briefly.
Finish: The finish is long, with a mix of black pepper, ginger, and peat smoke that slowly fades over an oily base. Hints of dark chocolate, vanilla, and a lingering bitter aftertaste round out the experience.
