The Oban distillery, located in the picturesque town of the same name on Scotland’s west coast, is one of the country’s oldest and most prestigious distilleries. Founded in 1794 by the Stevenson brothers, the distillery has a rich history intertwined with the development of the town itself, which grew around it. Situated between the sea and the Scottish Highlands, its unique location deeply influences the character of the whisky produced. This geographic harmony is reflected in the flavors, combining the briny aroma of the coast with the rich, malty notes of the inland regions.
The Oban 10 Years Old is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky, aged in a mix of refill ex-bourbon casks and finished in recharred ex-Oloroso sherry casks. This whisky was bottled at cask strength (58% vol.).

Aroma: Sweet on the nose with notes of butter biscuits, toffee, brown sugar, followed by lemon and beeswax.
Taste: Spicy and full-bodied on the palate, with notes of ginger and pepper followed by cherry, red apple, toasted grains, and a light hint of maritime smoke and brine.
Finish: Good persistence with notes of apple peel, honey, malted barley, and a subtle touch of smoke at the end.
