Color: Bright amber.
Aroma: On the nose, the sherry notes are present but not overpowering—cherry, blood orange, and caramel, along with apple, blackcurrant, hints of honey, tobacco, and ginger.
Taste: Full-bodied on the palate, with notes of plums, figs, and orange. A lovely spiced element follows—cinnamon and pepper—leading into hints of chocolate, pecans, and leather.
Finish: Medium in length, with notes of orange marmalade, honey, figs, and raisins, accented by hints of syrupy peaches, nutmeg, and brown sugar.
