Founded in 1821, Linkwood Distillery has always been loved by blenders for its fresh and floral character. For this reason, in nearly 200 years of history, official bottlings have been very few, with the latest being the Linkwood 12 Year Old, part of the Flora & Fauna series launched by Diageo in the early 1990s.
The Linkwood 2010 is a single malt Scotch whisky aged for 11 years in a single ex-Palo Cortado sherry cask (#134) before being bottled at 53.2% ABV, unchill filtered and with no added coloring, in a total of 550 bottles.
