Located on the island of Mull in the Hebrides, Tobermory produces two types of single malt: a non-peated one named after the distillery, and a peated whisky, which in our case is called Ledaig. The pronunciation of Ledaig is quite unique as it is said "lea-chick" or "led-chick," which in Scottish Gaelic means "safe harbor," just like the harbor of Tobermory, from where this single malt originates.
The Ledaig 10 Years Old is a medium-peated single malt (around 40ppm), aged for at least 10 years in American oak casks that previously held bourbon.
