Produced in small batches, the Kilchoman Sauternes Cask Matured is a peated single malt Scotch whisky, created using two types of casks, distilled between 2017 and 2018. These include 22% first-fill ex-Sauternes casks and 78% refill casks, also ex-Sauternes wine. This whisky has been bottled at the distillery's classic strength (50% ABV), non-chill filtered and at its natural color.

Color: Amber gold.
Aroma: On the nose, we are greeted by initial notes of maritime peat, followed by tropical fruits, pineapple, banana, currants, and a light hint of aromatic herbs.
Palate: On the palate, there is a beautiful contrast between sweet and salty, with notes of citrus, pineapple, banana, then a nice spicy touch, ginger, chili, and finally maritime peat smoke and light bonfire ash.
Finish: Clean and sweet with notes of vanilla, ash, red fruits, and a slight caramel aftertaste.Related Products
