The Kamiki distillery is located near Nara, Japan’s ancient capital. Even today, many 8th-century temples can be visited in Nara, and they are said to give the city its spiritual power. Kamiki is a Japanese word formed by Kami, meaning "God," and Iki, meaning "breath"—a perfect name for this whisky, which finds its strength in balance and harmony.
The Kamiki is a blended malt whisky made from highly selected malt whiskies from Japan and some of the finest malt whiskies from around the world. After blending, the whisky is finished in Yoshino Sugi casks—Japanese cedar. This wood has been used for centuries in temple construction and is known for its pleasant fragrance and smoothness, which help calm the mind and body.
