Brands:

The Jura distillery is located on the Isle of Jura, Scotland. This island belongs to the Inner Hebrides and is one of the most remote and rugged parts of Scotland, with a population of only a few hundred people. Jura was founded in 1810, but production was halted for a long time until the 1960s, when it was rebuilt and revived by local owners with the goal of breathing new life into the island.

The Jura 15 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky aged for 15 years exclusively in a single ex-bourbon barrel before being bottled in 2024 at its natural strength of 52.8% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with no added color, in a total of 201 bottles.

Color: Bright gold.

Aroma: Elegant and floral, with sweet notes of vanilla, caramel, and toffee. Hints of toasted nuts blend with delicate shades of yellow fruit, pear, and melon.

Palate: Creamy, perfectly continuing from the nose. Caramel and vanilla combine with the sweetness of honey, alongside notes of green apple and yeast, with hints of violet and buttery biscuits.

Finish: Medium in length, spicy, with notes of nutmeg and white pepper merging with the sweetness of honey and hints of blooming meadows. A delicate yet structured finish, with herbal and dry notes that perfectly balance the sweetness.
