The Hibernia Distillers, owned by the Hyde family, recently opened their own distillery but have been in the Irish whiskey world for years with their Hyde brand. Although not yet produced at the new distillery, the Hyde series is notably diverse and highly sought after by connoisseurs and collectors alike.
Hyde 8 Years Old Cask Strength is the first single grain in the series at cask strength. This triple-distilled whiskey has been aged for at least 8 years in charred ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled at 59% ABV, non-chill filtered, with only 1,000 bottles available.

Aroma: The nose is distinctly spicy with notes of cinnamon and cloves, then it softens with hints of caramel, grain, and vanilla.
Taste: On the palate, black pepper, toasted oak, butter, vanilla, and caramel.
