Glentauchers is considered a relatively unknown distillery outside of whisky enthusiasts, as most of its whisky is used for blends, particularly the renowned Ballantine’s. However, some single malt expressions have been released, though they are quite rare to find. Its production is characterized by a fresh and fruity flavor profile, typical of the Speyside style, with sweet and spicy influences.
The Glentauchers 26 Years Old - Chorlton Whisky is a single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1997 and aged for at least 26 years in a single ex-bourbon barrel before being bottled at 51.5% ABV, non-chill filtered, and at its natural color, with only 157 bottles produced.

Finish: Of good persistence, with notes of ginger, malted barley, butter biscuits, vanilla, and a light hint of beeswax.
