The Deanston distillery is located in the Highlands region of Scotland, on the banks of the River Teith, near the picturesque village of Doune. Founded in 1965 within a former 18th-century textile mill, Deanston is one of the few distilleries in the world to use internally generated hydroelectric power to fuel the whisky production process.
The Deanston 14 Years Old - Chorlton Whisky is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2008 and aged for at least 14 years in a single ex-bourbon barrel before being bottled at 52.6% ABV, unchill filtered, and with its natural color in a total of 234 bottles.
