Cihuatán Suerte is a limited edition rum inspired by the legend of Muwaan Mat, the Maya god of fortune. The Maya believed that this god held the gift of good luck. To gain his blessing, they would filter water with quartz during a sacred ritual, then enjoy festive and enchanting celebrations with drinks.
Cihuatán Suerte 15 Years Old is a rum made from sugarcane molasses, distilled using a column still, and aged for at least 15 years in medium-char virgin American oak barrels and ex-bourbon American oak barrels, before being bottled at 44.2% ABV.
