Originally intended only for the travel retail market, it is now available to us as well. The Bruichladdich The Laddie 8 Years Old was created by the new Master Distiller of Bruichladdich, Adam Hannett, who recently took over from the legendary Jim McEwan.
This single malt has been aged for at least 8 years in a mix of European and American oak casks and bottled at 50% ABV, unchill-filtered and with no added coloring. Will the apprentice surpass the master? Let’s find out...
