The concept behind the English distillery Bimber is that of a classic farm distillery, where everything, including barley cultivation, is done in-house. The distillery not only owns the land where it grows all the barley needed for production, but also has a traditional malting floor, where the barley rests before germination and is turned by hand.
The Bimber Ex-Bourbon Cask Batch #2 is a single malt whisky distilled in 2016 and matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks before being bottled in October 2020 at its natural strength (52.2% ABV), with no added coloring and without cold filtration, in a total of 2950 bottles.

Colore: Pale gold.
Aroma: On the nose, we have notes of fruit, apricots, apple, and lemon, followed by vanilla notes, crème brûlée, honey, and shortcrust pastry with hints of marzipan.
Taste: On the palate, we have notes of apple and pear, caramel, honey, and orange with hints of coffee and banana.
Finish: Medium length, spicy, with notes of banana, honey, vanilla, and peach.
