Benriach 15 Years Old Tawny Port Finish (46% - 70cl)
Benriach 15 Years Old Tawny Port Finish
BenRiach is undoubtedly one of the most surprising distilleries in Speyside, and this single malt is no exception. Aged for 15 years, it has been finished in casks that previously held Tawny Port wine.

BenRiach is located in the heart of Speyside, one of the most famous whisky regions, between Rothes and Elgin in the northeast of Scotland. The distillery was founded by John Duff in 1898. Its location was carefully selected to take advantage of the high-quality water from the Bourmade source and the proximity to the then-new Great North of Scotland Railway, which allowed casks to be quickly transported from the distillery to markets in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and across Britain.
The BenRiach 15 Years Old Tawny Port was aged in traditional American bourbon barrels before being finished in Tawny Port casks sourced from the Douro region in Portugal. This whisky was bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered, and with no added color, in a total of 2,040 bottles.
