Balvenie 12 Years Old The Sweet Toast of American Oak (43% - 70cl)
Balvenie 12 Years Old The Sweet Toast of American Oak
Designed to create an even fruitier and sweeter Balvenie whisky, Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie had the idea of importing virgin oak casks from Kentucky. After undergoing heavy toasting at the Balvenie Cooperage, these casks were filled with Balvenie whisky previously aged in ex-bourbon barrels.

Balvenie Distillery, located in Dufftown, at the heart of Speyside, is one of Scotland’s most renowned whisky distilleries. Founded in 1892 by William Grant, it remains family-owned, preserving the artisanal craftsmanship that sets it apart from many other distilleries.
The Balvenie 12 Years Old The Sweet Toast of American Oak is a single malt Scotch whisky aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being transferred for three months into virgin American oak casks. These casks, crafted by Kelvin Cooperage in Kentucky, were toasted for 20 minutes and then underwent additional toasting at the Balvenie Cooperage in Scotland to enhance their aromas and sweetness. The whisky was finally bottled at a classic 43% ABV, unchill-filtered.
