Balvenie 12 Years Old Single Barrel (47,8% - 70cl)

A premium selection from The Balvenie distillery, initially intended for the Asian market and now available in Italy. The Single Barrel range is named because each bottle is drawn from one single cask, itself derived from a single distillation. The unique feature of the single cask is that even two casks of the same type, filled with spirit from the same distillation, will never yield identical Single Malts.

For this reason, each bottle in The Balvenie Single Barrel line is essentially a limited edition, hand-numbered with the cask code it originates from.

The Balvenie 12 Years Old Single Barrel is aged for 12 years exclusively in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at 47.8% ABV. Each cask is hand-selected by Master Distiller David Stewart, who seeks malts with primarily sweet, vanilla notes; no more than 300 bottles are drawn from each cask.
