Founded in 2014, it’s located on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, the westernmost point of the Highlands. The distillery sits just a few dozen meters from Glenmore Bay, which overlooks the Sound of Mull, the narrow sea channel separating Scotland from the Isle of Mull. The landscapes in this remote and wild part of Scotland are breathtaking: castles, landscapes, lakes, and sea views here are unique and unparalleled.
Ardnamurchan AD is a peated single malt Scotch whisky crafted from a combination of 50% peated and 50% unpeated whisky, aged in a mix of ex-bourbon (65%) and ex-sherry (35%) casks before being bottled at 46.8% ABV, non-chill filtered, and at its natural color.
