Founded in 2013 on the remote and captivating Ardnamurchan Peninsula in the western Highlands of Scotland, the distillery saw its first "new make" spirit flow from the stills in July 2014. Today, we celebrate a historic moment with the Ardnamurchan AD/10 Years Old, the distillery’s first single malt Scotch whisky with an age statement.
This unpeated whisky is the result of a careful selection of the distillery’s earliest casks. About half of the casks used for maturation are first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, where the spirit rested for 10 years. The other half spent around 9 years in first-fill ex-bourbon casks before finishing their final year in Paul Launois champagne casks.
The result is a single malt bottled at 50% vol., at its natural color and unchill-filtered. This exclusive and limited release celebrates this important anniversary with only 15,000 bottles produced.

Color: Bright pale gold.
Aroma: An initial burst of ripe tropical fruits—pineapple, banana, and grapefruit—enriched by orange blossom and a hint of fresh cedar. Subtle notes of cotton candy and sandalwood follow, with hints of beeswax.
Taste: Rich and oily on the palate, with a well-balanced interplay of sweetness and spice. Initial notes of honey blend with ginger, cinnamon, and toasted almonds. Delicate hints of sea breeze emerge, accompanied by a lingering aftertaste of yeast and buttery biscuits.
Finish: Medium length, slightly dry but balanced by sweet notes of honey and ripe apples, with hints of malted barley and spicy oak.
