Located about 10 miles south of Huntly, Ardmore, built in 1898, is the only distillery in the Highlands that produces only peated single malt. Its taste is decidedly intriguing, with a mineral peat balanced by floral and fruity notes.
The Ardmore 2006 is a peated single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2006, and aged in a single cask for 14 years before being bottled exclusively for the Italian importer Pallini in 2021 at its natural strength of 60.7%, with no added colorants and without being cold filtered, in a total of 135 bottles.

Aroma: On the nose, initial fruity notes meet a strong peat smoke with hints of apple, leather, and honey, complemented by touches of tea leaves and ginger.
Taste: On the palate, the peat is much more pronounced, and the strength of the whisky is noticeable. Alongside citrus, apple, and green banana notes, there are also hints of honey, ginger, pepper, and vanilla.
Finish: Good persistence with notes of ginger, barley malt, citrus zest, and a subtle peat smoke that envelops the whole experience.
